Well, it started off like any other winter day in northern Michigan with snow falling, but then it turned nasty real fast. I looked down at the end of my street and all I could see was a massive drift with headlights shining out of it.
So I hooked our WESTERN Unimount plow to our 2014 Silverado, turned on the overhead light and headed that way. The drift was so deep that it came up to the trim on the side of the truck.
I had to make about six passes to open it up enough for the Jeep to get through, and it took about an hour to clear the end of the street. That plow saved the day.
I love WESTERN plows, and unfortunately, I can not afford to get one on my new truck. The one I use is on my dad's truck. All my father will buy are WESTERN plows! He used to be on the local fire department and that is all he equipped the command vehicles with to plow the stations and water points. And they never had a single problem!
We mainly use our WESTERN plow on the farm and at our house. It's a great lightweight plow, good for most jobs. We always use the truck over a tractor. It's warmer and much more comfortable too!
